Form a Local APWU
Retirees
Chapter
It only takes 10 APWU retirees from a local or area local to form a retiree chapter.
The first step is for a local or area local to pass a resolution supporting the establishment of a retiree chapter.
Once the resolution is passed, contact the Retirees Department. We will send you a sample Constitution and Bylaws, as well as several examples of those that other retiree chapters have adopted.
We will also send you a list of retirees that currently reside in your area, and provide further assistance. We will help you get organized, and suggest a wide range of activities that other chapters have undertaken successfully.
