The United States Postal Service is currently in the midst of a significant transformation: a 10-year plan aimed at modernizing its processing and delivery network. Central to this plan are the creation of Regional Processing and Distribution Centers (RPDCs) and the repurposing of some facilities. As a union official for the APWU, it’s crucial to examine how these changes will affect our members and emphasize our commitment to minimizing any adverse effects.
