This is in response to your letter dated July 31 ,2019, requesting "a one-week moratorium on the processing of grievances, disciplinary actions, and arbitration hearings" for the period of Thursday, October 24,2019, to Friday, November 1,2019, due to the American Postal Workers Union's All-Graft Conference being attended by a large number of National, Regional, and Local officers, stewards, and members. They will be away from their respective offices during this timeframe.
The Postal Service agrees with your request as follows:
For all grievances, disciplinary actions and arbitration hearings at the National, Regional and Local levels, time limits will be extended for a period of (8) days beyond those specified in the National Agreement.
