This National Level Pre-Arbitration Settlement Agreement addresses the cost of replacing identification badges. During the discussion, it was agreed that, as set forth in Section 273.272 of the Administrative Support Manual (ASM), the charge for each replacement of a lost Postal Service identification badge is $1. It was also agreed that action would be taken to comply with the above-referenced section of the ASM. Each employee at the Miami Post Office who provides proof of paying more than the $1 fee, beginning 14 calendar days prior to the filing of this grievance, were to be reimbursed the amount in excess of $1. Accordingly, this case was returned to Step 3 for compliance with this resolution.
