This Step 4 Settlement Agreement addresses whether a detail assignment, which had existed for approximately 2 years, should be posted for bid. Additionally, the union requested that the clerk craft employee serving in the detail be returned to his normal assignment. It was mutually agreed that the factual dispute in this grievance did not fairly present an interpretive question. It was learned by the parties at Step 4 that the employee has been permanently placed in the disputed assignment and his former assignment has been posted in accordance with Article 37, Section 3.A., of the National Agreement. As a result, the case was administratively closed.
