The issue in this grievance is whether the grievant was properly compensated for the period October 21, 1981, to November 21, 1981. After further review of the matter, we agreed that there was no national interpretive issue fairly presented as to the meaning and intent of Article 8 of the National Agreement. The parties at this level agree that once the union and management agree to a temporary schedule change for a bargaining-unit employee, the employee shall work the temporary schedule unless both the union and management agree to modify or terminate the schedule change.
