If you have any questions about when to retire from the USPS or questions about what retirement benefits you are owed from your time as a postal employee, please email RetireeQandA@apwu.org.
The Postal Service Reform Act (PSRA) (signed into law on April 6, 2022) mandated the creation of a new Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program. PSHB is a new, separate program within the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program and will be administered by the Office of Personnel Management. Coverage under the PSHB Program will be effective January 1, 2025. Visit apwu.org/medicare-integration for more information.
Retirees Director Nancy Olumekor encourages retirees to honor Older Americans Month by flipping the script on aging – reframe our mindsets and focus on the positive aspects of growing older while fostering relationships with the community around us.
