Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB)

The Postal Service Reform Act (PSRA) (signed into law on April 6, 2022) mandated the creation of a new Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program. PSHB is a new, separate program within the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program and will be administered by the Office of Personnel Management. Coverage under the PSHB Program will be effective January 1, 2025.

Open Season Health Seminars

Each year, Open Season runs from the Monday of the second full workweek in November through the Monday of the second full workweek in December. During Open Season, APWU Health Plan hosts a series of virtual health fairs for employers, postal workers, federal employees, and retirees who are eligible for the Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) Program. During the Q & A period you can ask Health Plan staff questions about Open Season changes.
