Step 4 Settlement Agreement; Article 19; Handbooks and Manuals (1991)

The issue in this grievance concerns examination requirements for clerk-typist and Markup clerk automated positions. During the discussion, it was agreed that examination requirements will be prospectively revised so that examinations for clerk-typist (tests 710 and 712) and for clerk-stenographer positions (tests 710, 711, and 712) may be administered separately to in-service applicants (current career employees) to determine qualification for these positions and other positions requiring these examinations. Specific instructions as well as applicable implementation dates will be published in a future Postal Bulletin.
