Step 4 Settlement Agreement: Article 37.3.F.6; Posting, Bidding, and Application (1982)

The question in this grievance involved whether management violated Article 37 of the National Agreement by posting an Accounting Clerk, Level 5 position with a typing requirement. After further review of this matter, the parties mutually agreed that a determination as to whether or not typing is reasonably related to the efficient performance of the responsibilities of the job at the Tallahassee Post Office, must be based on a review of the fact circumstances involved.
