Step 4 Settlement Agreement: Article 19; Handbooks and Manuals (1986)

This Step 4 Settlement Agreement addresses whether management properly denied compensation to the grievant for travel time during his return from training. The parties mutually agreed that whether the grievant was entitled to compensation for travel time when returning home from training was a local dispute suitable for regional determination by application of Part 261.164 of the F-21 Handbook to the fact circumstances. The parties at this level agreed that the grievant is entitled to overtime pay for travel time outside his established hours of service.
