Step 4 Settlement Agreement: Article 37.3.F.11; Posting, Bidding, and Application (1987)

This Step 4 Settlement Agreement involves whether a bump occurred when part-time flexible machine operators were rotated with full-time operators.  During the discussion, the parties mutually agreed that part-time flexible machine operators may be utilized and rotated into crews with full-time employees, as this utilization does not fit the contractual definition of “bumping.”  This document contains two related issues.  A Step 4 Agreement on Page 1, and a National Pre-Arbitration Settlement on Page 2.
