RE: Peak Season Exception Periods - Calendar Year 2022
The parties mutually agree to resolve the starting date issues involving the 2022 Peak Season Exception Period MOU and the Postal Support Employee (PSE) District Cap MOU, without prejudice to either party, in accordance with the following:
The parties agree the 2022 Peak Season Exception Period (accounting periods 3 and 4) and the four (4) week period prior to accounting period 3, as referenced in the MOU, Re: Postal Support Employee (PSE) District Caps, will be as follows:
Clerk Craft
1. The Peak Season Exception Period is from November 5, 2022 (PP24) through December 30, 2022 (PP1).
2. In Function 4, Holiday Clerk Assistants (HCAs) will be hired for three consecutive pay periods within the exception period: either November 5 through December 16, 2022; or November 19 through December 30, 2022.
3. For application of the MOU, Re: Postal Support Employees (PSEs) District Caps, the four (4) week period prior to accounting period 3 is October 8 through November 4, 2022.
4. Any local disputes involving the application of the Postal Support Employees (PSE) District Caps MOU will be considered timely for fourteen (14) days from the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding.
