The U.S. Postal Service and the American Postal Workers Union agree that the following terms and conditions will settle the issues in dispute in grievance AB-C-0901/C84CC-1850.
1. The Postal Service acknowledges its obligation under Article XIV of the National Agreement to provide a safe and healthful work environment for all employees.
This includes adequate precautions to prevent employee exposure from airborne concentrations of asbestos fibers. 
2. The Postal Service also acknowledges its obligation under Article XXIII of the National Agreement to allow, with reasonable notice, duly authorized representatives of the Union to enter postal installations for the purpose of performing and engaging in official Union duties and business related to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
3. As the remedy to this grievance, the Postal Service will require the St. Paul, Minnesota post office to maintain strict compliance with the requirements of Management.
