The question in this grievance is whether union stewards are entitled to be compensated for travel time. After further review of this matter, we mutually agreed that no national interpretive issue is fairly presented in the particulars evidenced in this case. We further agreed that the facts in this case indicate the steward is not entitled to pay for travel time in accordance with national Arbitrator Mittenthal's decision of case H8N-1A-C 7812. The parties at Step 3 should apply to the above cited case in order to resolve this issue. Accordingly, as we further agreed, this case is hereby remanded to the parties at Step 3 for further processing, if necessary.
