The question in this grievance is whether employees are permitted to fill out Standard form 1178 (Authorization for Deduction of Union Dues) during employee orientation. During our discussion, it was mutually agreed that the following would represent a full settlement of this case:
Completion of SF 1187 as identified in ELM 913.414 may be accomplished during employee orientation in the areas designated by management.
