This Step 4 Settlement Agreement is where the parties at the National Level agreed that Postal Bulletin 21310, dated August 6, 1981, places no restriction on the requirement of reporting traumatic work related injuries on the day that they occur. All OWCP guidelines indicate expediency which is in the best interest of all concerned. Part 542, Postal Bulletin 21310, outlines time requirements for submission of Forms CA-1. By copy of this solution, the postmaster was requested to implement same.
