This USPS Step 4 Denial outlines Management's position on whether or not management violates Article 1 of the National Agreement by using alternating 204Bs when the regular supervisor is off.  The Union contends that the workers never know who their supervisor is.  It was the position of the Postal Service that the assignment of alternating 204Bs is certainly no violation of Article 1.  However, they did acknowledge that employees should have some means of identifying their supervisor either by verbal or written instructions, or by some type of badge.
