The grievances concern whether information related to criminal investigations conducted by the Postal Inspection Service should be released to the steward. While the parties have consistently agreed that a steward shall not be unreasonably denied information necessary for processing a grievance or determining if a grievance exists, it is recognized that release of criminal investigatory information under the jurisdiction of the Postal Inspection Service may involve some inherent delay due to the need to determine if the information is appropriate for release to the steward and/or to receive appropriate approval for such release. Accordingly, as we find no violation of the National Agreement, these grievances are denied.
