The question in this grievance is whether management violated Article 8 of the National Agreement by denying out-of-schedule pay to employees on permanent light duty whose schedules were temporarily changed. The union contends that because the employees were on permanent schedules they should be compensated at the out-of-schedule rate. A review of the information provided disclosed no contractual violation. The action taken in this case was in accord with the provisions of Article 13 as well as ELM Sections 434.611 and 622. Having found no contractual violation, the grievance is denied.
