Workforce Benefits Settlement June 2018

Settlement Agreement on the Postal Service's use of the Workforce Benefits Fund. Settlement extended additional benefits to PSEs in overtime, uniforms, work guarantees, and health insurance contributions.

Settlement Agreement on the Postal Service's use of the Workforce Benefits Fund. Settlement extended additional overtime pay to PSEs. They will now receive "postal" overtime including OT pay after 8 hours in a service day, penalty overtime after 10 hours in a day, and penalty overtime pay after 56 hours in a workweek. PSEs in 200 work year offices will now have a four-hour work or pay guarantee. PSEs who are required to wear uniforms (MVS, Window, etc.) will now receive a "full" uniform allowance. Additionally, the USPS will contribute more towards the Non-Career USPS Health Benefits Plan. With this settlement the Workforce Benefits Fund was terminated.
