The Muncie Area Local #2432 is pleased to announce the details of the 2023 State Convention located in the heart of downtown Muncie. Downtown is a thriving mixture of locally owned shops, restaurants, and businesses.
Muncie’s newest hotel, the Courtyard, features two restaurants, indoor pool, exercise room, sundry shop, parking garage, meeting space, and rooms with refrigerators and microwaves.
Your travel day is Wednesday April 5 with registration in the evening from 5-7 PM and daily Thursday thru Saturday.
This years Convention will feature one day of training and two days of convention proceedings.
Our special plans include nightly hospitality, COPA auction on Thursday after session, luncheon on Friday with State Scholarship winners, and a special celebration Saturday evening at the new Clubhouse @ accutech with family entertainment for all ages, restaurant, and lounge. Try digital golf, bowling, putt-putt and many other activities at your choosing.
Registration is $125 per delegate and should be mailed to Donn Durham, Secretary/Treasurer PO Box 2432, Muncie, IN 47307. Deadline is March 22, 2023. ($145 after deadline)
Sleeping rooms are secured at “The Courtyard by Marriott” under the APWU group negotiated rate of $132.00/night. The cutoff for the negotiated rate is February 20, 2023. After that date reservations are on a first come first serve basis for the group rate. Book early as normal rates are $199.
