The Midwest Organizing Conference is being held this year July 31-August 2 on the University of Iowa Campus, Iowa City IA.  The Conference will provide intense, immersive training for individuals committed to growing the APWU and increasing union membership for our Coalition Partners whenever possible.

APWU National Organizing Director Anna Smith, will join the Labor Educators at the University of Iowa Labor Center to present an in depth, immersive learning experience designed to develop skills and strategies for leaders to use to grow this great union, identify emerging leaders, and engage the membership. Locals are encouraged to recruit participants from outside their normal steward ranks to attend, but everyone is welcome.

The cost for the program is $450/participant which will include 3 lunches, and the Solidarity Banquet and all materials.  The Labor Center has reserved a block of hotels rooms on campus at the University rate of $98/ night, breakfast is included with the room.
