2018 POWER Central Region Educational Conference Announced

The 2018 POWER Central Region Educational Conference has been officially announced!
The conference commences promptly at 8:30 AM on Friday, May 18, 2018. It will conclude Saturday, May 19, 2018, no later than 6 PM. It will be held at the Hotel Lumière at the Arch, 999 North Second Street, Saint Louis, MO 63102.

Workshops include:
- Civics and the Legislative Process;
- Sexual Harassment and Abuse;
- Following the Rules;
- Women’s Health Issues;
- Preparing for Your Future; and
- Women’s History in the Labor Movement.
The room rate is $129.00 for single/double occupancy, plus $20.00 in additional taxes and fees, and a 17% tax per night. To make room reservations, contact the hotel directly at 1 (877) 450-7711. You must use the Group Code “SAPWU18” and inform the hotel that you are with the APWU Conference. The hotel requires that one night’s lodging be paid in advance by a major credit card. To receive a refund, reservations must be cancelled within 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Please obtain a cancellation number. Self-Parking is complimentary for hotel guest and conference attendees.
Conference registration is $85.00 per person which includes two lunches. Due to budgetary constraints, neither coffee, pastries, or sodas will be served. Registration hours at the conference will be are Thursday May 17, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Friday and Saturday, 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.
