The results are in: 96 percent of those who responded to a survey conducted by Costco, the discount retailer, said they oppose privatization of the U.S. Postal Service.

In February, Costco Connection magazine ran a survey, “Should the Postal Service be Privatized?”  The magazine included a pro-privatization article by Chris Edwards of the CATO Institute and an anti-privatization article written by Katherine McFate, a member of Center for Effective Government and A Grand Alliance to Save Our Public Postal Service.

The APWU urged members and allies to vote “No,” on the survey.

“This is a great result, but we must remain vigilant” said APWU President Mark Dimondstein. “We face serious, well-funded attacks from organizations that are determined to privatize our great national treasure.”
