Ballot Count Gets Underway in APWU Election

Beginning at 7 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Oct. 8 ballots will be opened and votes counted in the election of APWU national officers. The Election Committee collected the ballots from the post office box at 2 p.m. on Oct. 7 and transported them to the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Washington DC, where voters’ eligibility was verified.

Results are being tabulated by the American Arbitration Association, under the supervision of the Election Committee.
