Members of the APWU Election Committee collected ballots for the 2016 election of national officers from the designated post office box at 2 p.m. on Oct. 5 and transported them to the Kellogg Conference Center at Gallaudet University, where they will be counted,

Voters’ eligibility will be verified, outer envelopes will be opened, secret ballot envelopes will be separated and opened, ballots will be scanned, and votes will be tallied by the American Arbitration Association, under the supervision of the Election Committee.

Unofficial results will be posted online as soon as the vote tally begins at 7 a.m. on Oct. 6 EDT, and will be updated frequently.
