The Boston Metro Area Local is Feeling the Bern!
On Feb. 27, the Boston Metro Area Local took part in a rally for Bernie Sanders on the steps of the Massachusetts State House. About 500 people attended, including retirees from the Boston Local and members of the South Shore Area Local. Members of the National Nurses Union, Communication Workers of America and other unions were also present.
Boston Metro Area Local President Scott Hoffman addressed the crowd, talking about Sanders’ long history of support of postal workers, as well as union workers in general.
