Grievance Moratorium To Be in Effect Due To 2025 APWU All-Craft Conference
The APWU and the Postal Service have agreed to a moratorium on the processing of grievances, disciplinary actions and arbitration hearings at the National, Regional, Local and District levels from October 1 through October 10, 2025, due to the 2025 APWU All-Craft Conference, Industrial Relations Director Charlie Cash has announced. The period spans a total of 10 days.
According to the agreement, all grievance activity and disciplinary actions that would occur between October 1 and October 10, at the National, Regional, and Local levels, will be extended and considered timely if the action occurs no later than October 20,2025. Additionally, no arbitrations will be scheduled between October 1 and October 10. The Postal Service also agreed that in addition to the main body agreement between APWU and USPS, the moratorium would apply to Information Technology/Accounting Service Centers (|T/AS), National Postal Professional Nurses (NPPN), and Human Resources Shared Service Center (HRSSC).
