Letter Carriers Announce Contract Award
January 11, 2013
The National Association of Letter Carriers announced on Jan. 11 that a three-member arbitration panel has issued an award outlining the terms of a new collective bargaining agreement with the Postal Service.
“We congratulate our brothers and sisters in the National Association of Letter Carriers on their new contract,” APWU President Cliff Guffey said. “Collective bargaining works – even when the parties must resort to binding arbitration to settle their differences,” he said. “We are pleased that the NALC is satisfied with the outcome.”
