May Day Celebration

APWU President Mark Dimondstein spoke at a celebration of International Workers Day sponsored by the AFL-CIO on the eve of the holiday.  Although May Day – which originated in the fight for the eight-hour day in Chicago – is not officially recognized in this country, it’s making a comeback.
