Remember to wear your sticker – Contract Now! Good Service! Good Jobs! – on Thursday, Feb. 19.
Union members are urged to show their solidarity on the opening day of contract negotiations by wearing the stickers that were mailed to local and state presidents for distribution, along with any other union caps, t-shirts or gear. During Tuesday's Town Hall Conference Calls, 98 percent of those on the line said they were interested in participating in this sticker campaign.
“By wearing the sticker and union gear, you will visibly demonstrate that union members are involved, informed, united, and organized in our quest for a fair contract,” Dimondstein said. “To win support, we will need the active involvement of all APWU members – not just stewards and officers.”
