Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee holds Hearing on Oversight of the USPS

On 4/16, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held a hearing to conduct oversight of the USPS. The purpose of the hearing, as stated by Committee Chairman Senator Gary Peters office, was to “examine the U.S. Postal Service’s current service, operations, and finances, including oversight of changes to the Postal Service’s network and their potential impacts on mail delivery. The hearing also examined the implementation of the Postal Service Reform Act.”
