Eastern Region APWU Leaders Meet with Congressional Candidate Madeleine Dean

On Thursday, October 25, Eastern Region APWU leaders were at it again, flexing their legislative muscles. Eastern Montgomery County Pa Area Local (EMCAL) President AJ Jones, EMCAL Vice President Charlie Kukulski, Philadelphia BMC Local President Chuck Camp, and Philadelphia PA Area Local President Nick Casselli met with Congressional candidate for the Pennsylvania 4^th District Madeleine Dean, and presented her with a COPA contribution.

Dean has been endorsed by several unions, including the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO. She is an attorney, professor, and state legislator, representing communities in Montgomery County, PA since 2012. She has remarked that, she has, “been proud to stand up for working people in Harrisburg – voting to raise the minimum wage and increase funding for our public schools.  I want to continue those efforts in Washington.”

They spoke with Dean on the state the United States Postal Service and urged that she Stand with Postal Workers and the People’s Post Office.
