COLA For Employees Covered by the National Agreement
Future COLAs will depend on the terms of the successor APWU Collective Bargaining Agreement, which is currently pending ratification by the membership. In June, the CPI-W Unadjusted Index (1967=100) increased from last month to 937.808.
Pending the ratification vote on the 2024-2027 Tentative Agreement, employees would receive $395.00 retroactively for the January 2025 COLA, and the projected accumulation towards the second COLA is currently tracking at $583.00 after the fourth month of the six-month measuring period. (This projection is based on the numbers released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for the month of May 2025)
