Step 4 Settlement Agreement: Article 37.3.F.5; Posting, Bidding, and Application (1982)

This Step 4 Settlement Agreement addresses whether the senior bidder will be given an opportunity to demonstrate the skill(s) when a posted duty assignment requires a specific skill(s) where the employee must be immediately qualified. The parties mutually agreed to resolve all issues involved in this grievance based upon their understanding that when a posted duty assignment requires a specific skill(s) where the employee must be immediately qualified, the senior bidder will be given an opportunity to demonstrate the skill(s). This includes typing if the senior bidder is not already on a locally maintained typing register.
