The question raised in this grievance is whether an error found during an EDIT Operator test was properly explained to the grievant. During our discussion, we agreed that the provisions of Article 37.4.A.3 apply in this case. Specifically, it is our mutual understanding that one of the conditions which must be met in order for an EDIT test to become a part of an employee's Individual Performance Record is that the supervisor must be able to relate the machine printed record to the operator and identify, where possible, the error causes. Accordingly, we agreed to remand the case to Step 3 for application of the above. This document contains two related issues. A Step 4 Agreement on Page 1, and a Step 4 Agreement on Page 2.
