APWU members who live in one of the 26 Louisiana parishes affected by flooding may be eligible for disaster relief grants.

FEMA has declared the situation in Louisiana a major disaster, and is offering “Individual Assistance.” Click here to find out if you qualify.

Union Plus is also offering Disaster Relief Grants. Members with qualifying Union Plus credit cards, mortgages and insurance products who live in a designated area can apply for a $500 grant, provided they have not received a disaster grant before.

To apply for a Union Plus Disaster Relief Grant:

  • Union Plus Credit Cardholders should call 1-800-622-2580 to speak directly with a specially trained representative. Representatives in the United States handle all customer service calls to the Union Plus Credit Card Program.
  • Union Plus Mortgage and Union Plus Life, Accident and Auto Insurance holders should call 1-800-472-2005 to speak to a Union Plus staff member.

If you need additional assistance, contact Brea Ellis at 202-778-9827 or by emailing bellis@unionplus.or.
