IT/AS Contract Extension Ratification

On February 15, 2022 the members covered by the IT/AS Collective Bargaining Agreement voted to ratify the terms of an extension which covers July 18, 2020 through May 17, 2022. The membership spoke loud and clear with 341 members voting ”yes” to the terms, and 17 voting “no”.
The extension means there will be a retroactive payment which will include general increases of 1.0%, or 1.3% if the main APWU contract ratifies, for January 2021 and January 2022. There will also be a retroactive payment for three Cost of Living Allowances (COLA’s). Those payments will be $395 effective PP 24/2020, $770 effective PP 11/2021, and $1,560 effective PP 24/ 2021. It will also include a future COLA effective PP 11/2022. It also includes a 4% salary increase for all level 19-23 IT/AS bargaining unit employees.
“Obviously, based on the overwhelming vote for the terms, this is a good agreement,” stated Director Steve Brooks.
