Occupational Groups in the MVS Craft

The APWU has received confirmation from management that the Postal Service recognizes the existence of occupational groups in the Motor Vehicle Service Craft.
The issue arose when an arbitrator wrote in a ruling on a Maintenance Craft grievance that only the Maintenance Craft recognized occupational groups. In an Oct. 2, 2014 letter, APWU asked management to confirm that the Motor Vehicle Craft also has occupational groups.
In an Oct. 10, 2014 letter to the APWU, the Postal Service said that there is no disagreement regarding the existence of such groups in the MVS Craft.
