These two (2) Position Letters outline the parties respective positions on the Maximization MOU. The Postal Service agreed with the APWU's Executive Vice Presidents understanding that the intent of the memorandum provides; that full-time flexibles have flexible reporting times, flexible non scheduled days, and flexible reporting locations. Thus it was not intended that these individuals be "classified" as unassigned regulars and assigned to residual assignments pursuant to Article 37, Section 3.F.10; rather their schedules may vary depending upon operational requirements.
