2017 APWU Scholarship Deadline Extended
The deadline for the submission of applications for the E.C. Hallbeck academic scholarship ($8,000 over a four-year period) and vocational scholarship ($3,000 over a three-year period) has been extended to May 31, 2017, APWU Secretary-Treasurer Liz Powell has announced.

AFL-CIO, Union Plus Offer ‘Dreams of Jobs and Freedom’ Scholarships
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, during which Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech, the AFL-CIO and Union Plus are offering scholarships to help graduating high school seniors attend college.
