Bulk Mail Tech and Mailing Requirements Clerk MOU Extended Again

The original April 3, 2020 MOU, Re: Bulk Mail Tech and Mailing Requirements Clerk Position Qualification, was extended by the parties on February 9, 2022. This latest extension will expire on April 8, 2022 unless agreed upon by the parties to continue it further. Click here to view the MOU.

Another Successful BMC Conference

The Bulk Mail Center (BMC) Conference was hosted by the APWU National and the Nation’s Capital Southern Maryland Area Local (WDC BMC) from April 30 through May 2, 2017. Ninety-two delegates attended, representing 18 of the 21 BMCs across the country.

NLRB Issues Complaint Over USPS Failure to Provide Info to APWU

In response to two charges filed by the APWU, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) issued a complaint against the Postal Service on April 30, asserting that the USPS “has been failing and refusing to bargain collectively and in good faith,” by refusing to provide information to the union.
