This Step 4 Settlement Agreement is where the parties mutually agreed that if both full-time and part-time flexible employees were part of a rotating LSM crew and during the sweep cycle, it was necessary to reduce the number of employees participating in the sweeping, normally, a successful bidder shall work his/her duty assignment in accordance with Article 37, Section 3.F.11., of the National Agreement. For example, if during the sweep cycle only 3 of 4 employees are needed, normally, any PTF who was participating in the sweeping should be reassigned before a successful bidder, unless the PTF is being trained.
