The issue in this grievance is whether the seven-day notice period provided in Article 12, Section 1.A, is applicable to probationary employees who fail the MPLSM training. It is the position of the Postal Service that the seven-day notice period in Article 12, Section 1.A, is only for scheme failures. The employer is not obligated to provide a seven day advance notice of termination for probationary employees who fail the MPLSM training. Based upon the above considerations, this grievance is denied.
