This grievance involves whether RMIS work is being properly assigned.  The union contends that the work should be performed by the appropriate Level 6 Vehicle Operations Assistant-Bulk Mail, not by management and clerk craft personnel.  It is the position of the Postal Service that the position to normally used to perform the bargaining.unit portion of the work associated with the RMIS system is the Vehicle Operations Assistant, PS-6.  Exceptions to this will be based on local conditions.  The proper assignment of RMIS duties at the St. Paul BMC can only be determined on the basis of local conditions.  The information provided in This grievance file did not establish the existence of a contractual violation.  Having found no contractual violation, the grievance is denied.
