Using Leave Under the FFCRA

Updated 9/22: Due to the APWU’s focus on Labor2020 initiatives, the Industrial Relations webinar on an employee’s rights under to use leave under the FFCRA (Families First Coronavirus Recovery Act) has been changed to November 5, 2020 at 3 pm.
This will be focused on how the FFCRA leave provisions related to postal employees. We will discuss the Emergency Paid Sick Leave (EPSL)—how you can use it and how much you will be paid. We will also discuss the expanded FMLA provisions for that allow employees to take time to care for their children due to school closures, remote learning, and day care closing. We will also discuss the types of situations you can use the leave, when you might be able to be paid Administrative Leave, and other aspects of the law.
Anyone who previously registered is still registered for this webinar and has been sent an email with the updated schedule.
