APWU Election: Ballot Count Underway

Votes in the APWU election of national officers are being tabulated by the American Arbitration Association, under the supervision of the Election Committee, at a Washington DC hotel.

Guffey Elected President, Bell Wins as VP

In balloting that ended Oct. 14, Cliff Guffey was elected the new president of the American Postal Workers Union, receiving 69 percent of the votes in a three-way race. ALSO: Installation of National Officers

APWU Election Ballot Count

The APWU Election Committee collected ballots for the 2010 National Officers Election from the designated post office box at 2 p.m. on Oct. 14 and transported them to the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Washington, DC, where they will be counted.

With just two days remaining before the APWU election of national officers ends, members are reminded to cast their ballots to determine who will lead the union for the next three years.
