‘Stop Staples,’ Chicago Activists Say

Hundreds of APWU members, joined by hundreds of labor and community activists, took to the streets outside a Staples store in Elmwood Park, IL to protest a no-bid, sweetheart deal between the U.S. Postal Service and Staples to set up postal “counters” staffed by low-wage Staples employees rather than U.S. Postal Service workers.
