One Word: VOTE
As Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4 draws near, APWU President Mark Dimondstein, the APWU National Executive Board, and all National Officers have one simple message for APWU members: exercise your right to vote. The Postal Service is dead set on slowing down the mail and dismantling America’s postal infrastructure and Congress has the power to stop it. Who we send to Congress can make the difference. Said Dimondstein, “I encourage Postal Workers and our families to stand up for our livelihoods by voting on November 4th.”
Do you know where to vote or what you need to bring to the polls? Voting laws have changed in several states and many polling locations have moved. To find your polling place and confirm what you need to bring to the polls, please click here.
If you run into a problem on Election Day, call Election Protection for help at 866-OUR-VOTE. Election Protection is the largest non-partisan coalition of poll watchers and lawyers and is committed to making sure your vote is counted.
And as always, should you have any questions before Election Day, please contact APWU’s Legislative and Political Department at (202) 842-4211.
